Determining Sleep Apnea

Most of us are ashamed of snoring. However, it also holds the key to our health, in that it can determine if we suffer from a condition called sleep apnea, which in turn considerably increases the chances of a heart attack. A pause in snoring can mean our body has an episode (called an apnea) when one or more breaths are skipped as we sleep. In other words, we stop breathing. Quite understandably, this can have disastrous consequences on our health, increasing the risk of having a heart attack during the night as well. One minute of our partner’s time is all it takes to determine if there is anything to worry about.

Why not ask your ask your bed buddy to stay up until you’ve passed out. If he hears a pause between snores that lasts up to 30 seconds and ends with a snort or a gasp for air, he/she may have sleep apnea. Breathless sleep forces your heart to work harder; one study found that having apnea increases your risk of having a heart attack or dying by 30 percent. If you’ve got a delay, see your doctors immediately.

In fact this little exercise should not take up more than a minute of your time, while also being potentially very useful in determining whether you too suffer from the condition. What’s best about this exercise, it is being said, is that you get to sleep through it, while your partner watches over you. Should the delay in breathing and pause in snoring appear, then it’s high time you saw a doctor about it, it is further advised.

Get Rid of a Stress Headache

1. Remove yourself from the stressful situation to get rid of your stress headache. If you are continually being bombarded with stress you will not be able to get rid of your stress headache.

2. Grab a cup of coffee and head to a dark quiet room to work on your stress headache.

3. Sit in the dark room and close your eyes. This will block any stimulus that may add to your stress headache.

4. Take a deep breathe. Hold the breathe for 10 seconds and then slowly let it out. This will start to alleviate your stress headache.

5. Sip your cup of coffee slowly. This will ease your stress headache.

This online school offers only the best out there. And if ever I will go back to school or let say refresh my memory, I’d love to go back to school through online. And this one really sounds interesting. I finished my bachelor’s degree 8 years ago and I only worked for a full 2 years through that time. How to instill the spirit of giving to kids

1. Lead by example. Serve as a role model by volunteering at your child’s school or engaging them in frequent conversation about community service. Explain the benefits of community service to your child and help them understand social responsibility and diversity in their communities.

2. Involve your child in selecting a project or cause in which to participate. There are a variety of resources to help you and your child become involved in your community. Check with your child’s school for any community service activities.

3. Consider a developmentally appropriate cause based on your child’s interest and skill level. There are a variety of ways your child can donate his or her time. For instance, several Arts & Crafts charities give your child an opportunity to paint, create cuddly dolls and bags for sick children.

4. Prepare you child for the experience by asking questions, providing options and listening to their needs and wants.

5. Praise their efforts and talk about your volunteer experience once it is complete. It’s helpful to ask your child what he or she learned from the experience. Ask your child if he or she had fun helping. Communication is key.

6. Start small. Recycling at home is a great way to incorporate community service into your daily or weekly routine. Show your child which items to recycle and teach them about how it helps the community.

Vacations

Are you still looking for a place where to spend a family vacation with your love ones? Well, I’ve heard so much about Cancun from friends who got there already. Raves and photos of that beautiful place has been in my minds this past months. Like last summer a friend of mine got there and all I did was wowed with their beautiful photos! Someday though, I’d love to go there! Or maybe soon! Somehow, this cold weather makes me want to just jump off in a crystal water pool or beach and I’m sure those Karisma Hotels has those beauties! I’ve read that Karisma Hotels is a collection of divinely favored properties on secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya. Sounds really interesting and a fun place, right?
